Phil...you would think I would have good balance. I have broken three wrists since becoming an adult (at some point, not sure exactly when THAT happened) that proves that theory wrong. But at 5' 10" I guess it makes sense.
Chloe, Don't tell me you're my solemate ;-) I'll be lefty, you can be righty.
If you think of the life of a foot, it's pretty miserable. You're stuck in a tight shoe with a bunch of other toes bumping into you. You sweat. You have to support the whole body, and most of them are ugly on top of that!
All I can think of is George in "Seinfeld" calling the big toe the "captain of the toes." Now I'm only looking at one picture, but it looks to me like your captain has the respect of his men.

Like a car accident, I can't look away...who exactly calls the foot on the left his (or her!) own?

Chloe, that is very funny! I did a search on yahoo images for 'ugly feet' and this is what turned up. They actually have an ugly foot contest.
Eva, Look on the bright side, you must have incredible balance!
I drive my wife crazy with my admiration of my feet, but the other day she said to me
'you know, you do have good lookin feet'

That's funny mr. schprock. Being a Seinfeld fan, I'm surprised I didn't think of it myself. I like to also refer to mine as my 'Grand Toe'.
I thinnk I should do something about the url of my blog. 'my-shrinkage'. It reminds of a frightened turtle.

"my-shinkage"
You are, of course, alluding to another Seinfeld episode.

Oh, no. My below average foot is extremely envious of your above average foot.
Grrr!

Hmmmm, Toe Envy?
What would Freud say?
'Sometimes a Toe, is just a Toe'...
