09.17.05 From My Loins?

I figured since I did the MeMe (which was fun) why not post a picture of me at about the same age as my oldest son is. So here it is. I know that fashion has changed but I can't believe how un-hip I look at age 12 vs how my son looks at the same age. I don't know if all of you remember My Three Sons, but there was this kid who was adopted and his name was Ernie.
I remember being by my cousins house when I was about 12 and his neighbor asking me if I was Ernie from My Three Sons. I hated the man after that. Looking at the pictures now(and being a ball-buster myself), I can understand why he said that. Way back then we didn't have computers and IMing and all of that. My son has a few 'girls' that he chats with and I think he will be fine on the dating circut in a few years (many years I hope). I on the other hand did not have IMing, which I guess could have been better because I could have used someone else's picture and have pretended I was someone I was not. Needless to say, I didn't have many girlfriends at age 12...or 13...or 14...

Woo-woo! Dylan is a cutie! If I had a 13 year old daughter, I wonder what she'd think?
Of course, knowing my luck, she'd probably be a "late bloomer" and think anime guys were hot!

Dylan is quite the cutie. I'm sure my twelve-year-old would be impressed with your twelve-year-old.
You didn't look like Ernie. It's just the glasses. Everyone had glasses like that WAY BACK THEN.

Dylan is undeniably hip. You on the other hand, are loveably dorky.
ppgrill: Pee Pee Grill?
Sounds awful! Word verification is mocking me.

Actually Dylan looks a LOT like you did at that age! It's just the glasses that make you look, um, a bit nerdy.

Dude, you totally stole the open-mouthed gawk. Or maybe he stole it from YOU? You could totally sue for gimmick infringement.

See, but I dig dorky guys, so I would have mocked you loudly, ya know, so you knew I liked ya.

Just got done with my MeMe. It's good to be back and it's great to see you're still out in cyber land.

Those are really good photographs of your children. Did you take them?

Doh! I got confused. I thought the two at the top were your children and the black and white one was you. I've got it now. Sorry for being thick. :-)
I'm sure I made this post 10 minutes ago. Have I posted it somewhere else? Oh dear Oh dear. I think I need to catch up on my sleep. :-)
