Had to do it - sorry.....

I just had to enable the 'word verification' feature for the blog, too much spam, not enough eggs. But I just realized something. For all of you expectant parents out there, this could be used as a funky name generator.

    I noticed a decline in the regulars making comments over at my place. Hopefully folks will understand why we're having to do it, and will take the little bit of extra effort to say hi.......

  • Funky name generator? No way man! Its like a freaking IQ test everytime I try to comment. Am I being punished for commenting? AM I?

  • It is a drag having to do this, but the spammers are too much of a pain in the a**. I've found that if the 'word' is too long or not legible, you can click the refresh button and it creates a different word. One time it said 'ElvisLives'.

    It was frightening ;-)

  • At first i was against the "homework" of the anagram generator, but after a SPAM attack, i added the word verification, too. Thanks for your help Phil! I need to find the time to tweek my links now. It's hard to do when you share a dial-up connection with another blogger...
