A university study showed that it's the same 750,000 to 1,000,000 or so zealots who make up the "faithful" who watch PTL, 700 Club, and a host of other "Place your hands on the television and feel the warming grace of JEEEEEzuuuussss" shows. Unfortunately, if a million peole dig deep and send the Rev. Blowhard all the cash they can muster, that's a lotta millions funding more airwave exposure, making them LOOK like they are more powerful than they are. Even more unfortunate is that the level of ignorance in the common American causes him (and his president) to identify with this group, at least at a visceral level on some emotional and biblical point, such as abortion or homo-marriage, which translates into REAL power at the voting booth.
At present, the pendulum is swinging far to the right, where hopefully it will hit Dubya and Pat Robertson squarely in their teeny tiny testicles, then start it's inevitable and much awaited return towards reality.
Yeah, it's amazing that so many people watch that program. I know some of them and they consider all the hype and political "news" broadcast on it as real news! So sad.
I am a Christian and I liken this idiot to the Christians version of Islamic Extremists. Every religion has those who take it to far, out of context and give the norm a bad name. Disgraceful.
I'd like to share some pics with you. My Son and I were blessed by the sighting of two white doves flying free on Veteran's day and I managed to get 7 pretty good pics of them in flight. Stop by and have a look. Be sure to turn on the song, "White Bird", as you browse the pics. Thanks.
I just realized you posted on 11/11 at 11:11...I always notice that on the clock because it's supposed to be a "magical moment" the only time all 4 numbers are the same...
You win a date with Matthew McConaughey for catch JLee. Back in my drug daze (see photo), we used to call 11:11 'bean time' because the 1's looked like joints or 'beans' as we called them, hence the name 'bean time'. Needless to say, nov 11 at 11:11 am/pm was 11/11 11:11 was the high holy day of our year. But to be honest, you can change the date of your post to what ever time or day you want so I put that time there on purpose. Good catch JLee!

"The 700 Club claims a daily audience of around one million. It is also broadcast around the world translated into more than 70 languages."
Idi Amin claimed to be the King of Scotland, so much for claims. Still, what a stupid thing to say but look at the source.

That jackass should have learned his lesson when he stuck his foot in his mouth calling for Chavez's assasination.
I cant stand any of these celebrity type of spokespeople.
BTW.. I struggled for a bit before I clicked on your "prick" link. I decided that I was secure in my masculinity and went for it... :)

BG - it's funny in a sad way.
JLee - After my two big toes on the same foot picture, you don't want to know what else I have two of.
Paul, he's a loose cannon with a big mouth and a large following. Too bad someone doesn't use his idea on him. Glad you are secure dude...

Isn't it great that God tells Pat Robertson what He thinks? No more having to guess or look for signs or miracles. I'm gonna start watching his show!
