A Strange Tree Grows in NY

I thought this tree was very unusual. The top part is dead, but it has this funky branch that swings down.

It looks like an illustration from a fairy tale. "The tree is alive, and bows it's arm to sweep up the princess as she leaves her castle"
Or I may have read one too many children's books ;)

I dunno, looks more to me like a house in a subdivision built on top of an old, haunted, indian chicken processing plant. They made a movie about it, "Poultry Ghost".

How do the inmates of that house make their way around this EVERY day!?!? If I were them, I'd just move my door over to the side. It might look funky though.
