  • Nina always did very interesting work in my opinion. That was part of my atraction to her. She did a wonderful etching of my Aunt and Uncle's house in Vermont. My dopey scanner isn't working now but I'll post it when I get it going. She once made a very cook hook rug where she asked the neighbornood kids to put finger paint on their hands then they put their hands all over this huge 3x6(?) rug backing. She gthen filled in all of the hands with different colors and as I remember it, there was a blue background. I wonder if she still has it?

  • ha ha.... thanks for the memory phil. "don't have the rug no more" I think it was part of payment for some movers cos I have moved like 11 times since I made that rug. MY thing now is knitted quilts. I made a "pagan one with runes", a "llama one", a "rooster one" -- a "gay quilt" with all the lesbian symbols, a quilt for when sarah turns 20, on an on.
House at Pawlet? that's the etching I did in 1980. I love funkey old houses and I live in one. :)
