My Friend's Son Won
Thanks to all of your fantastic efforts, Greg and Irina have WON the KIIS contest for the Beverly Hills wedding!!!!!!A limo came for them this morning, and they're now on their way to be interviewed on air by Ryan Seacrest (their "15 minutes of fame")!
The big day is February 25, and then they'll have a 1-week honeymoon at Sandals in Jamaica. The wedding/reception (for 90 people) will be at the Il Cielo restaurant, the dresses are by Tahari, the tuxes are by Brooks Brothers, etc., etc. Whew! But they couldn't have won it without all of your help, for which I say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! And please pass our appreciation on to anyone else you may have contacted to cast a vote for them too! (OK, now I think I'll go faint....)

Thanks guys for voting. Dogga, it had to do with a US Radio Station paying for a couples wedding in the sum of $102,000. You can have a pretty fancy wedding with that. The lady whose son was in the contest used to work with me. She was such a great person, aside from the fact that she would often (maybe once every week or two) wake up early (4-5am) and bake fresh goodies, cakes, breads, cookies from scratch and bring them in for us. If you were lucky to be on her A list (as I was) she would make a cake on your birthday. She won the title of
Best Baker at Work in New Jersey.
There is a sad story about her getting laid off but I won't get into it here.
