Testing 1, 2, 3

I haven't been around much. Well, I've been around but not blogging or commenting much. If anything I've been posting more photos on Flickr and a few videos on video.google.com.
So, I don't want to make a dumb statement like I'm not blogging any more but it seems to have slowed down for me and for many other folks I'm seeing. I've been at this since 2005. Wow, that's a lot of talking to people I don't know when you think about it. I do feel that I have gotten to know many of you so I guess I should phrase it as people I haven't met instead.
The holidays were great, the kids had a blast and that's what it's all about in my book. Seeing them happy makes me happy. I've been getting out to kayak still although this week it's only going to be in the 20s so I think it will be on hold. Dana and I have gotten out to see a few concerts and we have a great violinist, Joshua Bell, coming up in February for Valentines Day. I also ordered tickets for Spamalot today for a show in September, my 50th Birthday which is a big deal for me*. We got good seats, front row center, first balcony. I love balcony seats. Anyway, I have not been visiting many of you, sorry about that.
So until later, be well.
(after I make a post like this I tend to post even more intensely- geesh)

Yes, I agree. I have, on several occasions, stated I was going on hiatus, and within a day I had a whirlwind of thoughts and ideas to post.

Sometimes this is tons of fun then other times it's not. I do think it's cool how I've met some great people though. I know it's not over, it's just slow

I'm sure it's healthy to have a break Phil, as long as you're OK that's all :]
Ooh, I was tempted to go see Spamalot recently.

As long as you don't pack in altogether. There have been some fun times on your blog - like the time you promised to post a pic of you wearing your speedos. :-))

ha-ha, I do think it's just a case of burnout and my not wanting this to become a Blahg (a boring blog?)
i.e.I woke up today, went to have some cereal but the milk was sour so I but my left pants leg on first, then my right but forgot my underwear so I had to start all over again...
I am doing OK just so you all know that. I'm actually on hiatus from my stuff for a little while and maybe a longer while. And thank you Kat, I did not lie about my Speedo :-)
I do think I know the greatest bunch of people that I've never met if that makes any sense...

Know what you mean! And understand.
I alternate between thinking it's the greatest thing for me or the worst -- between posting all the more or just coming in and deleting the whole thing one day...
I mean, I have an offline life to live -- no, wait, the blog is my life! What am I thinking?!

Hi Phil,
I'm on the laptop, so I can make a comment. Damn Beta ;-)
I feel too drained by all of the work and personal stuff going on to post these days. I'm okay, and sure I will begin posting again soon, just need a break myself.
