Thanks everyone for the photo comments. My Dad took that back in the 40's (1948?). He was a good photographer but there are many family photos from when I was little where he took so long to compose the shot, everyone looked real pissed off. I should try to find some of those to post. Here's another one of the two of them.

My mom turned 87 in February. Maybe they went to different schools together?
I am watching TV as Clapton, et al., are playing a free concert this morning in NYC at Bryant Park. Was wondering if you're in the crowd.

That used to be called Needle Park as in Panic in Needle Park with Al Pacino because of all of the junkies in the 70's
